What's new in Lexus KSA
Welcome to ALJ's new Android application for Lexus Middle East and North Africa customers.ALJ's Lexus KSA application is specially designed to assist communication, between car owners and the dealer customer service. We are sure that, Lexus and Android Phone / Tablet owners will love this free application, which includes an eCatalog illustrating our new products, a directory of dealer location for sales and service details, a Smart Service Request facility and much more such as news and valuable local promotions.
Now, let’s take a closer look.
eCatalog
The eCatalog provides a 24/7 access to potential buyers when considering new cars, or car accessories. You can select the model of your choice, and navigate through the gallery to view images of our latest product line. You can save or email an image of your favorite car.
Under eCatalog, you can retrieve details of a specific model, obtain facts and figures or configure the vehicle, select wheel and colour choice, and take a 360 view of your selected vehicle.
Or even request a test drive with your local dealer.
Settings
This application has the ability to detect the location of the device; therefore, you can initiate a call to the defined phone number of the showroom in your current country. Or you can deselect Auto detect and choose a specific country. An additional useful feature is a service reminder where you can set a date for your vehicle’s service which automatically notifies you at the requested interval.
Directory Listing
In our directory listing you can select with location details, that are powered by Google maps which will display all the showrooms address details, and its location, in map, satellite, or hybrid mode. You can also view the sales or service staff at each location and add their contact information on to your smartphone if needed.
Personal Details
You can also enter your personal details, like name, email and mobile which your device will automatically apply when you are booking a service for your vehicle, or contacting your local dealer.
Car Registration
In addition, your car registration details such as model, year, and license plate details can be entered, and saved for future communications.
Smart Service Request
ALJ Smart Service Request makes it easy to book a service appointment. The device provides a pre-defined request form to your preferred service location, including a friendly navigation selection, to the type of service requested and your preferred date and time.
You may also take a photo of your car, for example: if you want to point a service staff to a specific problem, error or area of damage. The picture will be included in the email body of the phone.
Owner and car details will be aligned to the device settings and you have the flexibility, to select which car would be sent for service, if you have more than one vehicle registered.
SOS
We also include a choice of phone, a car GPS location, and email request for simple SOS emergency request through this mobile application, which will be sent to the MENA Assist Contact Centre in your respective area.
Survey
Your opinion matters, you can provide valuable feedback about your specific sales and service experience by responding to a selection of easy to answer multiple choice questions.
News and Promotions
Last but not least, we have a news and promotions feature, which provides you with up-to-date Lexus news which you can share with friends, and your local dealer promotions, events and activities.

Approximate location (network-based) - allows the app to get your approximate location. this location is derived by location services using network location sources such as cell towers and wi-fi. these location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. apps may use this to determine approximately where you areView network connections - allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected
Read google service configuration - allows this app to read google service configuration data
Record audio - allows the app to record audio with the microphone. this permission allows the app to record audio at any time without your confirmation
Use accounts on the device - allows the app to request authentication tokens
Modify or delete the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to write to the usb storage
Prevent device from sleeping - allows the app to prevent the device from going to sleep
Receive data from internet - allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. using this service will incur data usage. malicious apps could cause excess data usage
Directly call phone numbers - allows the app to call phone numbers without your intervention. this may result in unexpected charges or calls. note that this doesn't allow the app to call emergency numbers. malicious apps may cost you money by making calls without your confirmation
Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
Modify your contacts - allows the app to modify the data about your contacts stored on your device, including the frequency with which you've called, emailed, or communicated in other ways with specific contacts. this permission allows apps to delete contact data
Find accounts on the device - allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the device. this may include any accounts created by applications you have installed
Read your contacts - allows the app to read data about your contacts stored on your device, including the frequency with which you've called, emailed, or communicated in other ways with specific individuals. this permission allows apps to save your contact data, and malicious apps may share contact data without your knowledge
Add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge - allows the app to add, remove, change events that you can modify on your device, including those of friends or co-workers. this may allow the app to send messages that appear to come from calendar owners, or modify events without the owners' knowledge
Read the contents of your usb storage - allows the app to read the contents of your usb storage
Read calendar events plus confidential information - allows the app to read all calendar events stored on your device, including those of friends or co-workers. this may allow the app to share or save your calendar data, regardless of confidentiality or sensitivity
Precise location (gps and network-based) - allows the app to get your precise location using the global positioning system (gps) or network location sources such as cell towers and wi-fi. these location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power
